CasperTalk is a teleprompter that lives under your Mac's camera.

The idea is simple.

Your notes sit right here…

a few millimetres from the lens.

So when you read…

you're still looking at the person.

It listens for your voice.

When you stop talking…

it waits.

When you pick up again…

it moves.

Present from Keynote or PowerPoint…

and it jumps to each slide's speaker notes as you go.

Share your screen on Zoom, Meet or Teams…

and this panel stays out of the share.

Your audience sees the slides.

You see the next line.

Move it. Resize it. Restyle it.

Nothing leaves your Mac.

No account. Free to start.

That's the whole idea.

Notes only you can see.

A teleprompter for Mac that sits under your camera and follows your slides and your voice. Share your whole screen — your audience gets the slides, never your notes.

Free plan, no account. Pro is $29 once. macOS 14 or later.

Ready before your next call

Three steps. No account, no setup wizard.

  1. 1

Paste your notes or drop in your deck

Write in the built-in editor, or import a .pptx and your speaker notes arrive slide by slide.

  2. 2

    Park it under your camera

Drag the panel right below the notch. Reading it looks like eye contact.

  3. 3

    Talk. It keeps up.

The text moves with your voice and jumps with your slides. Your audience only ever sees the slides.

Everything you need to stay on script
without looking like you're reading

CasperTalk keeps the next line where your eyes already are — beside the camera — and keeps it off every screen but yours.

Hidden from screen sharing, recordings and screenshots. Your audience sees your slides — never your notes.

Retention: 104 → 118. Credit the onboarding team.

Two risks for Q4. Ask for the decision now.

Slide Tracking

Change the slide in Keynote or PowerPoint and the prompter jumps to that slide's speaker notes. No clicking, no scrolling.

Voice-Follow

The script scrolls while you speak and waits when you pause. Other voices on the call don't move it.

Eyes on the lens.
Words right beneath it.

Right under your camera

Sits directly below the notch, so glancing at your notes looks exactly like looking at the person.

Any size. Any corner. Any display.

Drag it. Resize it.

A slim strip under the camera or a big reading panel for the whole script — it floats above every app and Space.

…so the next quarter starts with a clear owner for each

Hover to pause

Move the mouse over the panel and it stops instantly; move away and it resumes. In a slideshow, a plain P works too.

Questions people ask

Does it really stay hidden when I share my screen?

Yes, on the capture pipelines modern meeting apps use, the CasperTalk window is simply not part of the share, recording or screenshot — you see it, nobody else does. Two habits keep it that way: turn Stealth Mode on before you start sharing and leave it on, and if you want zero exposure, share only the Keynote or PowerPoint window instead of the whole screen — another window can't be inside a window share by definition. The app's welcome tour walks through both.

Which presentation apps does Slide Tracking follow?

Keynote and PowerPoint for Mac: the prompter follows the live slideshow and shows that slide's notes. You can import a .pptx file or pull the notes straight out of the presentation you have open. Google Slides is on the list.

Will people on the call still hear me with Voice-Follow on?

Yes. CasperTalk listens on its own tap and steps out of the way of Zoom, Meet and Teams, so your microphone works in the call exactly as before. It's also tuned so the other side's voice coming out of your speakers doesn't scroll your script.

Do I need an account?

No. Download, open, paste your notes. There is no sign-up, no login and nothing to sync. Buying Pro gives you a license key; that's the only thing you ever enter.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. $29 once, yours for good, updates included. One key unlocks one Mac — activate it on the Mac you present from.

What does the free plan limit?

Only the two features that do the work for you: Voice-Follow and Slide Tracking, at 5,000 words a month. Everything else — scripts, deck imports, manual and constant-speed scrolling, Stealth Mode, styling — is unlimited. And a limit is only ever checked before you start; nothing stops mid-talk.

Where do my scripts and recordings go?

Nowhere. Scripts and imported decks are files on your Mac; microphone audio is analysed in memory for speech activity and never written or sent anywhere. This website sets no cookies; it counts visits with cookieless analytics that store nothing in your browser — details on the privacy page.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. It's a native Swift app — small, fast, and it lives in your menu bar rather than the Dock.
